Graduated with a Masters in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas.

Worked in Plano ISD with kids ages 3-19 with expressive/receptive, fluency, pragmatic, voice and articulation disorders in the school setting. Provided consultation services for kids with Dysphagia in the school setting. 

Worked with adults with cognitive/linguistic deficits in the outpatient and inpatient setting.

Graduate with a Masters in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. 

Worked with assessing and treating kids ages 3-10 in Garland ISD with various communication disorders. Trained staff members and family on how to accommodate for kids with autism, how to implement language strategies and how to use assistive technology.

Worked in the outpatient setting with adults with memory deficits. 

With 43 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, I specialize in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and hold certification in assistive technology through the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America. After decades in public schools, I’ve transitioned to the private sector, continuing my work with individuals with complex communication needs. I provide AAC services including evaluations, feature matching, technology implementation, and training for families, caregivers, schools, and agencies. I have also presented on AAC topics at regional and state conferences. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our Rottweilers, and engaging in activities like swimming, dancing, and crocheting.

Graduated with a Masters in Communication Disorders from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. 

Experience working with bilingual children ages 1-17 in the home health setting around the DFW area.

Heba has had the pleasure of working in multiple facilities in various capacities. She has performed diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to apraxia, language disorders, aural rehabilitation, dysphasia, and pragmatic language disorders, pre-school children, school-aged children, and adults.
